Towmaster is always looking for ways to diversify its product offering, and while we have a reputation for high quality heavy-duty equipment trailers, we were looking to grow into other related markets.

In 2008 Towmaster invested into the truck body manufacturing and truck equipment installing market by hiring Tim Erickson and Tom Gertgen, who are well known in the municipality truck equipment business. We also hired several qualified and experienced truck equipment installers for this division. With the experience of our fabrication department, skilled welders, experienced installers and Tim’s and Tom’s unsurpassed experience in the truck equipment industry, Towmaster has excelled in this expansion and gained the trust of the Minnesota municipality market.

Our market has primarily been Minnesota and a few bordering counties in Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota, but we are looking into supplying OEM product to other truck equipment outfitters.
